WHEN A PART OF YOU IS READY
In-person in St John’s Wood, NW8, London
& Online
Perhaps you are anxious in ways you cannot fully explain or disconnected from things that once brought you joy.
Perhaps your body is carrying what your mind cannot quite articulate.
Or perhaps you can see the pattern you keep returning to, and yet feel powerless to change it.
Whatever has brought you here, it is rarely one reason.
It is usually a layering of experience, feeling, and history that has become too much to carry quietly,
and a longing for a space where you do not have to pretend you are fine.I offer a calm, confidential space to slow down, look more closely at what is unfolding,
and begin to understand what lies beneath. My approach is integrative and depth-oriented, which means I bring the full range of my training and skills to our work. I draw on the body as well as the mind, on the present moment as well as the past, and always on the relationship between us,
because it is in moments of genuine connection that we experience hope and meaning.
You show up. You hold it together. But quietly, somewhere beneath all of that, you are wondering how long you can keep going.
Integrative psychotherapy draws on multiple theoretical traditions rather than following a single model. In practice, this means that the way we work together will be shaped by you.
I may draw on psychodynamic understanding to explore the patterns and experiences that have shaped you over time, on body-informed approaches to work with what is held in the nervous system, or on more structured methods where they are useful.
The thread running through all of it is the same: a genuine curiosity about who you are, and a commitment to finding the approach that fits you, not the other way around.
INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY
As a Clinical Psychologist and Chartered Psychologist, I am trained in psychopathology, clinical assessment, and a wide range of evidence-based psychological theories, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to name a few. My work is grounded in rigorous clinical training and shaped by ongoing professional development (CPD).
I have been practising as a Clinical Psychologist since 2005. My early career took shape across a wide range of clinical environments, including NHS psychiatric hospitals, government services in the UK and abroad, and inpatient and outpatient settings in the UK and abroad. Over the last 20+ years, I have deepened my understanding of how trauma, relationships, and the weight of lived experience shape a person's inner world.
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic thinking and shaped by attachment theory, interpersonal dynamics, and the patterns that quietly organise our inner lives and our relationships. I am an accredited Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy practitioner, which deepens my work with relationship difficulties, unresolved attachment, and the ways we repeat what we have not yet understood.
I have a particular interest in the psychology of women and in supporting women through the transitions that mark a life, e.g., motherhood, midlife, loss, identity, and body change. This led me to specialist training in menopause-informed psychological care, and to a deepening focus on the mind–body connection.
I am a certified Somatic Trauma Therapies Practitioner, drawing on Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing, and parts-informed approaches to work with what the body holds and what words alone cannot always reach. This includes nervous system regulation and Somatic EMDR — approaches that work beneath the level of language, where some of the most significant healing quietly takes place.
At the heart of everything is the relationship between us. I believe it is in genuine connection, warmth, and trust that the most meaningful change unfolds.

KIND WORDS
What I appreciated most about Jeanne is her authenticity. She doesn’t hide behind clinical jargon; she’s fully there with you, in a very human and grounded way. When I needed warmth, she offered it. When I needed clarity, she gave it. When I needed to be challenged, she spoke directly, sometimes with humour and always with understanding. That balance helped me grow in ways I never expected and helped me repair a part of myself that has made a profound difference in my life and in my relationships. A.C
With Jeanne, I always felt emotionally safe, even when we were talking about the most vulnerable parts of my life. Her calm, steady presence helped me face things I’d avoided for years. She demonstrates so much compassion and care, and that has helped me learn how to hold space for myself too. F.D
When I started therapy, anxiety was running my life. Jeanne helped me understand my fears and helped me rebuild myself. You met me exactly where I was and never made me feel ashamed of how hard it felt. I’m calmer, stronger, and finally hopeful. L.M
